Rotarians for Bees

In response to a worldwide decline in bee and pollinator populations that will affect food production on a massive scale, Rotarians and Rotaractors in Melbourne, Australia have mobilised to form Rotarians for Bees. This is now a project of the Australasian Regional Chapter of ESRAG. Bee populations are dwindling globally because of climate change, pesticide use in agriculture, loss of natural habitat, fewer flowering plants and diseases (such as the Varroa mite).
