Next weeks Guest speaker Jeannie Magri who will be talking about Managing Family Breakdown, is a subject that is interesting to all and would again be a great partner's night.
 
Hi Everyone, Our Market went well this month with over 40 stall holders there, the weather was good for a change, Chris did a great job while Tony was away sick, and all the helpers all contributed to make the set up and clean up easy, thank you to all those that helped.
Thank you to all those helping with the set up of the hall every week, and also those helping  Ray while he is not well, and Elaine as she is still not well either.
Next month I will be taking some time off Rotary duties, my Daughter Samantha will be getting married on a Wednesday and there is a function on the following Thursday, So hopefully Vice President Merv can step in again, after this Birth  and Marriage and another next January hopefully the rest of the year will be less stressful.

Pres introduces the Chairperson for the night.
Chairperson Lynn introduced the Secretary .
Secretary Bob mentioned correspondence that he had received and told a shorter joke this week.
Director – Harry mentioned the DIK visit and how if we contributed weekly, we could make a big difference.
Director – Rick mentioned the ride to conference and how he wanted all members to support him and handed around a piece of paper to get names.
Member – Chris spoke about the Market and asked for helpers

                                     GUEST SPEAKER THIS WEEK.
Sara was a pilot for Cathay pacific, Sara said she had loved planes and wanted to fly since she was 10, she went flying with her father and loved it, since then she did everything she could to become a pilot.
Sara flew the mail run, and said that was in the worst weather conditions she has ever been in, Sara flew the cargo planes for Cathay Pacific, mainly into Canada and other great places, saw amazing sun rises and sun sets, she sore the Northern lights as well as the arctic ice caps, Sara met her now husband when he became a pilot for the same company, they have flown together, but that was before they announced that they were a couple, Sara is now a retired  Mother with 2 Children, her husband still flies, but only interstate.
Sara now lives in Mt Martha and loves being home for her family.
