President's Message
Dear Rotarians and all friends of the Rotary Club of Dromana.
Hope your all well. Those with birthdays and anniversaries, congratulations.
At the moment after Mornington Peninsula Presidents cluster meeting, we learned a lot about the Peninsula Bay Trail.
This is now well on the way, with a $10 million injection from Mornington Peninsula Shire Council.
We thank Ros Kilborn for putting in so much work and coordinating with the cluster group.
A thank you to the members whom assisted with the help at the marked well done.
I am looking forward to our face to face meeting on Thursday, hope you can make it. We will be in the outside area that should be nice.
There will be one more meeting on the 9 December at the same place.
Then on to our Christmas break up 16 December at Main Ridge Bowling Club. Hope you don't miss out, we love to see you there.
We will raffle a nice well worth winning Christmas hamper with the funds going to world polio day. This was previously spoken about in the club.
We would like to thank Ailsa Hemphill for her hospitality shown to us at her place for our A.G.M.that was a great night good fellow ship.
Take care.
Your President, Harry.
Constant criticism is highly destructive in our club or in any relationship.
For every negative comment, find five positive ones to add.
Current Projects
In the current state of the world our normal fund raising activities are on hold. But that doesnot stop you from supporting our Rotary projects.
Polio is nearly eliminated from the world.( we older guys grew up with it all around us)
