Dinner was lasagna chips and salad with apple pie and custard for desert and tea and coffee.
Lotto was won by me again and donated again.
Director Peter received a letter of help from a family in Rosebud asking for money to by vouchers from Kmart and Coles , the father aged 43 has had 2 strokes that have affected both sides of his brain , his wife is now his full time carer and they have 2 young daughters, l asked the club if l could hand around a bag and members and guests could put in whatever they could spare, l was greatly surprised when l got home and counted $230.00, l thank the members of my club for there generous support, when l emailed the organiser she was also greatly appreciative of what our club had donated.

Christine Williams (PDG Merv Williams Wife)
Christine is on the RAM (Rotarians Against Malaria) campain to bet people aware of what Malaria has done and how we need to keep working on this to prevent it from coming back, Christine showed us a video of how Maleria enters the blood steam by injecting a mucase while it is sucking out the blood, the mucase stops the blood from conjeeling and at the same time sends the Maleria virus int the blood stream, were it muliplies along the arteries and grows, it also makes its way into the liver and keeps multiplying, Christine said it mainly afects females and younger children, she also said if treated early it can cure the virus, one tablet can eliminate 80 percent of the virus, but you need to keep taking the medication as there is still a lot to get ride of.
John Barnes explained how he came in contact with a person who had the virus, when he he called a doctor, he gave him a tablet and started recovering very soon after.
Direc and Inc Pres Rob said we could use the spinner money in April as thats Milaria awareness month, and also use signage to promote Rotary.
