GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS There will be no GIG next week, all time will be given to Guest Speakers. Chairman for the night was Michael Anderson President Peter welcomed Russell Joseph, Antonella Celli, Kevin Harrup and Adrian Davis and also announced the apologies for the evening DIRECTOR Tony, spoke about the Market and the meeting he had with 4 other members at the site and measured up the area. Also mentioned the Mazda M Day BBQ we are doing in Mornington, and what we need to supply for the event. DIRECTOR/President Peter mentioned the social night at Geoff and Elaine Taylors house on the 25th of August, all supplied but PLEASE BRING YOUR DRINK. MEMBER Mark Long mentioned RYPEN and how it was back on again and booked. THE GUEST SPEAKER Russell Joseph, who is our member elect gave us a talk about his life and how he entered politics with the help of Martin Dickson, who is leaving after the election. He spoke about how he worked in with the Labour Party to get certain things done that both Parties were passionate about, he also attended our tree planting day and is heavily involved with community work and supports all the fundraising events around the Peninsula, He also mentioned the Quarry project currently being talked about, and said everyone should voice their concerns, Michael asked about the housing situation with the disabled and elderly and said there wasn’t enough funding for this situation, Mark asked Joseph a couple of question.
