HAVE A GREAT WEEK, PRES PETER

                                                                                                  GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS

Thank you everyone for your attendance this evening
Chairman was Virgin Member Ian MacIntosh   (First time chairman)
Rotary Toast was given by Ian
Invocation was read by  Mark Long.
Secretary Chris gave out correspondence to Directors.
Pres Pete handed out Polio cinema brochures to all members and explained that if we don’t sell at least 20 tickets then we will have to pay the difference, because the Cinema has given us a special screening of the film for the Polio Fundraiser, so we need as many people as possible to attend.
Director Harry handed out his booklets for all members to go over, and if we like them we can copy them but change the name to our Dromana Rotary Club.
Member Greg spoke about Halloween and how its all ready to go, we just need good weather and low wind for the bon fire.
Lotto was won by Sergeant Murray who was fined for that.
No Gig.

Guest SPEAKER.
Our guest speaker for the night was PDG Charlie Spears, he gave us a great talk about Rotary international Foundation and also about global grants and district grants and how they work to benefit your club and the projects your working on.
He also spoke about Skyhydrants, and how they were first thought of and designed, and how they work to provide clean water.

A number of us with help  of members from the Main Ridge Bowls and Petanque Club erected the BBQ shelter at the club. We we treated with a great morning tea and lunch with free access to the bar.
The structure is ready for the roof and fitout. We must also thank Honorary Member Andrew Duncan who drove is giant tractor the site. This enabled us to lift each heavy section in to place  without busting ourselves.
