Thursday nights meeting was held at the new Market site next to the Dromana Information Centre, Tony invited guests from Australia day, Men’s shed, Lions club and other clubs in Dromana, we were also honoured with the visit of Hillview Quarries CEO Paul Netis who came to look at our new BBQ trailer the Ross Trust payed for.

Director Tony shewed guests were the new stalls were going for the Market and gave a run down on how it was going to work.

We are all in this together—and together, we will Be the Inspiration. (A quote from Barry Rassin ).

                                        BE THE INSPIRATION.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, PRES PETER

                                                                                                  GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS

As there was no normal meeting this week l will go over the week we have had.
Pres Peter has spoken to board members to see if he is elected again as incoming president and doing a double term who is going to be on his new board, l have spoken to Chris Booth and made some interesting changes to his next board, some confirmed and a couple not yet, the structure of the board meeting will stay the same as it works very well with timing.
Secretary Chris has got the raffle tickets ready to go to print this week and we will start selling hopefully next week some time, we will also be handing out a lot of tickets to other groups to sell for us and will donate $1.00 for each ticket sold ,Chris is also working on some of our insurance issues that need to be sorted out ASAP.

Treasurer Rick has been working on Market financial structure with Tony, Michael and Mark, it all seems to be coming together very well.
Fundraising Director Tony has been working long hours to with his steering committee and others to organise stall holder, reply to their questions etc, he has a good number of stall holders for the first one with a over 70 expressions of interest, a number of these will become stall holders.
Pres Pete and Tony have organised the Election day BBQ at the Primary School, he has the roster set up, any questions speak to Tony or Pete about your times.

Pete has also been approached by the Dromana Lions club to do a BBQ at the Dromana Primary School on the 5th December, its from roughly 3.30 till 5.00, its labour only and only for a couple of hours, l will put this to the members this Thursday night and see if we can get some people together to help out, not only the Lions Club but the Primary School, unfortunately the Lions are short of people that can help out, and this will be a great awareness for Dromana Rotary and what we do.

Pete and Mary went to bright for a break and went to speak to the Rotary Club of Bright, Pete had a long chat to their President Patrick about there Market, there Water slid as well as there water park, pics bellow, there Market runs for 6 months, there water slid runs for 6 weeks and the water park most days over daylight savings period.
