Secretary Bob handed out correspondence to Directors and told another joke
Director Harry mentioned the 2 x 40 ft containers he and Pres Pete had discussed and with the board's approval decided to donate them to DIK, who had picked them up during the week, they were sea worthy containers valued at around $10,000 dollars for the both, great job from Harry to not only get the 2 containers but organize to get them removed from their factory in Dandenong all within one week.
Member Chris spoke about the next raffle, it was all agreed by all members that we would go with.
1st prize - $12,000 dollar travel voucher
2nd prize – Accommodation in Tasmania (donated by Roger and Ginny McMillan) and return air fare paid by Club.
3rd prize - $650 voucher for IGA supermarket.
Chris also spoke about were we would be doing our BBQ’s over the summer period, with the help of Tony doing all the paperwork with DWELP (Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning) and Pres Pete doing the Street Trader Permits. We are looking at having them on the Dromana Foreshore, only around weekends when weather is permitting, in late December and all January weekends.
Dinner for the evening was.
Entree – Mushroom soup with Ciabata Bread.
Main – Rissoles with mashed potato, broccoli and carrots and beans.

Merrin from MP MARKETING
Merrin and Emmy from MP media, They do all our Market and Rotary Web site and Face Book Social Media work to help promote the Dromana Community Market and our Club.
Merrin has a good history of this as she has worked in Television doing there computer work, she has also worked at the Melbourne cup doing all the statistical work, she has also been invited to work overseas on the upcoming Olympic games doing there Statistics work with there team, doing 3D type graphics and analysis work.
Merrin has been working on Computers since she was about 17, Merrin was also an exchange student and is currently a member of the Red Hill Lions club.
She is a regular at our Market with Emmy taking photos to upload onto our Web Site and all other Social Media Pages.
