Hi everyone, had my first zoom cluster meeting last Sunday, went well.
Don't forget there is a board meeting on zoom at 7pm Thursday and followed by our weekly zoom meeting at 7.30pm.
changeover night will still go ahead for the end of June and automatically change President and board will follow on from 1st July, can be done with Zoom or other.
Mary and l have still been cooking and delivering meals to Ray and Elaine, Joy Liddell as well as other customers of ours that are in need of help and support.
We have now been told that our shop will remain closed for at least the next 4 weeks due to social distancing rules.
That's it for me, please all take care, stick to the rules and we will get through this as quickly as possible, cheers Pete

Well we hope you are not suffering from boredom!

It is amazing how many little jobs around the house that we keep putting on hold somehow have now become necessary

Our next meeting will be a Zoom meeting on the 16th of April at 7.30 PM. as mentioned previously.

If you did not join the last meeting please make sure you devote your half hour to catching up with us. It is easy to join and fun to participate can you can see all of us in vivid colour!

We intend to get a guest speaker on future sessions; Greg is working on it.

So please register when you receive the email invitation from Chris Booth.

And if you register fully you can host your own Zoom meetings and keep on touch with your family and friends.

When you think about the possibilities we can use zoom at our "normal" meetings when they are allowed to invite a guest speaker from anywhere using Zoom. We just won't invite him or her for dinner so think of the money we will save.

You should have received an invitation to join a Zoom meeting -Rotary caring for our Communities during COVID-19 Live Webinar next Tuesday 14th April at 5.00PM AEST with the Federal Minister for Health, The Hon Greg Hunt MP.

Hopefully you have register for that. You will even have a chance to ask questions of the Minister.

Have you seen the latest hospital case admissions stories

Casualty departments are getting an unusually high number of visits with kitchen injuries.

Apparently many people have been trying to cook at home for the first time, or have forgotten that k n knives are sharp especially if you hold them up the wrong way, hot plates are indeed hot, just like boiling water and cooking oil, and petrol is not a good way to rapidly heat up the Barby.
