Our Social evening was held at the Stella’s Dromana Hotel. We had a very good turn out of Members and Partners. The food was delicious and the ambiance very homely and intimate.
It was also entertaining, because our Secretary put together a series of questions about a current topic “Father's Day”. It brought to light some facts about the history and origin of the event. It was interesting and light-hearted. Well done Wayne and Thank You for your efforts.
This Wednesday we are back at the SBS Club for our club meeting and our Guest Speaker is one of our own Members in Peter Greenaway. Peter will speak about his involvement with the Juke Box Industry.
Look forward to his presentation and I hope to see you all there.
Happenings at last week’s Meeting
This week we had our Social Night back at Stella’s in the Dromana Hotel. This time we were in the “cosy” section and had three tables to ourselves.
Wayne provided the entertainment interlude with a brief talk on the history of the “commercial” Father’s Day with a follow up quiz. Enjoyed by all, especially those who won.
The meals are always hearty, and the conversations were various. We began to wend our ways home around 8:15.
