Peter also mentioned that there were 59 people attending the changeover night, it is a great result and hope everyone has a great night. THE (finaly he done it ) GIG G.I.G. Merv Prossor Merv spoke on his recent fishing trip to Tilpa, a small town situated on the Darling River in N.S.W. He left Red Hill at 3.30am and drove just on 1000 kms arriving late afternoon. Quickly set up camp before dark then went to the hotel, the only place with phone coverage. Calls were made to home to say we had arrived safely. First day the fishing was great and the weather fine 21 degrees. The fish went quiet for a few days but the weather stayed good. A storm blew up one night so we prepared camp for rain. There was thunder, lightning and strong wind but only a few spots of rain. Locals informed us that a flush of environmental water was coming down the river but unfortunately we had to go home before it arrived. The fish however must have sensed it was coming so we had a very good day to finish. We all came home tired but with a freezer full of fish.
