Thank you to all our sponsors, you are welcome to come as guests to our club, just contact Pres Peter and he will arrange it for you, you are more than welcome.
 
 It was brought to my attention late Thursday night before our meeting that Harry Zeigerink had fallen ill and was at Frankston Hospital, we wish him and Trudy all the very best, When l find out more ,l will let members no.
LATEST NEWS-  Harry is out of Hospital, spoke to him Friday night, We will be cancelling the DIK visit till Harry is 100% and we have more members willing to go.
 
DIK visit is currently on stand by, it will be cancelled if Harry is Unwell.

Hi Everyone,
At This week’s meeting we Inducted another new member to our club, Brenton Ellis, Brenton and his family are very big with the Youth exchange program, the Ellis family have the son Ollie over in Brazil.
The Progressive dinner went very well over the weekend, a big thank you to Barb and Col, Elaine and Geoff, Mary and Pete, Marg and Chris and all those other helpers, We raised $700 dollars to go to Polio,and with what we already donated and the 3 for one offer from the Gates Foundation  great effort, thank you.
Car raffle was drawn of Friday the 10th May At Mornington Mazda winners were drawn by Antonella Chelli at 2pm ,the winners.
 
1st prize – Mazda 2 winner was – Joseph Sophia
other winner published next week.
 
Car will be presented at our next Market at 12.30pm.
 
Red Shield Appeal for the Salvos, 25th and 26th May.
Need volunteers to shake tins at McCrae Plaza on both days maybe 2 people per shift from 9.30am until 12.30pm then until 4pm.
Unfortunately clashes with our market on the Saturday.

Peter then proceeded to Induct another new member Benton Ellis, Brenton and his wife Karen have been a great value to our club with the youth exchange program and decided to join our club, great to have him as a member.

Secretary- Spoke about Pres Peter's talk from last week about the TRAG program, it was decided that Dromana Rotary would go ahead and help fund this program ,Chris also mentioned a BBQ later on and wanted to see if we were interested in doing it, he will get more info about it,Chris handed out correspondence and told another good Joke.
Director- Tony spoke about the Market and how they went at Red Hill Market in getting more stall holders, things are looking good.
Pres Pete spoke about the DIK visit and is waiting on advice from Harry who is not well at the moment, we all wish him and Trudy well.

Julie Allan and Michael Everett
Julie spoke about how she had been on the Foreshore comity for over 25 years, and her father was on the comity for 40 years, it stared back in the late 1800's ,Julie spoke about how they are only funded through local donations like the Bendigo Bank and money raised through Boat shed fees, Julie said the shire doesn't contribute to them at all, They showed a few photo's of the area as well as a pic of early days of Dromana.
Julie also spoke about the seal that lives on the foreshore for a lot of the time of the year, and how it is blocked of for the safety of walkers, how they organise the cleaning of the toilets over summer and manage the caravan section at Anthonies Nose, it was a great talk to hear a little history of Dromana.
