Hello Rotarians and friends.
 
Thursday nights meeting was opened  by secretary and past pres Bob, as Pres Ross was running late.
Chairman for the night was also Sec Bob as Colin was absent due to a family member passing away, our thoughts are with you all at this time.
 
One of guests for the night was Pat Sonsonette, from Rye/Rosebud Rotary, he gave us a talk about all the organisations he is with or was with, Pat is a very committed volunteer to whatever he puts his mind to, he has given a lot of years to all the organizations he has joined.
And since he came to Australia in 1957 from Italy, and been doing volunteer work since then , he has certainly clocked up some very helpful years.
Pat is now very passionate about supporting the people of his home country Italy after there 2 earthquakes recently,  and is askinb Rotary clubs for there support
 
Most board members and members discused the weekend activities being the Art show and Halloween and how they went, the art show was down considerably this year with painting being displayed down from last year , final figures are yet to come in, and members are looking at ways to increase the numbers for next year.
 
Halloween went of very well this year , even with the weather looking like it was going to put a damper on it litteraly, CFA took $600 from there cans on entry , and took $1,380 on the sale of there food.

Our guest speaker for the night was our exchange student Emily, she spoke about going on the exchange camp at Forest Edge, were Emily met other exchange students , she met some that are going away in January and they were leaning about Australia to see how much they no when they go back.
Emily also spoke about the ride to conference in March, were she will be riding on the great ocean rode.
Emily also mentioned that she dressed up as a hippy for Halloween. 
 
For Dromana Rotary Members a d there partners ONLY, please remeber that the 15th December is our xmas dinner at the Greek restaurant in McMcrae, please inform Elaine ic you and your partner are coming OR NOT, we must no either way fo avoid confusion,  and please CC me as well on your reply, thank you.
