Last weeks “Guest” Speaker

was none-other than our very own Andrew Turner has presented us with a short history of his colourful life to date including lead singer in a band.

After leaving Melbourne Grammar, Andrew misadventures in Europe and ended up with a couple of quid in his pocket in London. After pacing up and down the streets there he managed to get a few survival jobs help paid for him bed and scraps of bread. He eventually find his calling in the IT industry and discover that he had high skills in Computer programming ( the ancient programming language of COBOL that is still currently used in some business applications).

When he returned to Australia he found his skilled were in great demand and has worked for many companies in Australia in various roles
