GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS Chairman for the night was Merv Prossor Invocation was performed by Bob Donaldson Rotary Toast was performed by Merv Prossor President Peter welcomed all the guests for the evening and also did the apologies. Chris spoke about all correspondence and handed out leaflets for government grants that were given to us by Geoff Hosking and the men’s shed as they want a grant to go towards projects for the Men’s Shed, and asked all members to go online and vote for them. DIRECTOR Tony, spoke about the Market and its progress with the shire and getting approval, also mentioned getting the steering committee going with urgent points. DIRECTOR/President Peter mentioned the social night at Geoff and Elaine Taylor's house on the 25th of August, and asked for all members that were coming to put there hands up so we know how many are coming, all supplied but PLEASE BRING YOUR DRINK Tonight's Guest speaker was Mark Humphreys, and the topic for the night was, SATELLITE CLUB, Mark gave an in depth talk about how to set one up, the number needed to get started, all the procedures and laws, it seemed pretty simple to do but all you need is dedicated people with a project and a main club to bounce off, Mark also showed a slid show of key points for all the guests that came to listen in on the talk, there were questions asked and answered by Mark and Christine Williams,Guest Joseph Sofia from wine lovers in the Dromana industrial estate was very passionate about building the Rotary name, he is considering becoming a member of our club, it was a great night, it was fun and enjoyable.
