                                        BE THE INSPIRATION.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, PRES PETER

                                                                                                  GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS

Hi everyone, Dromana Community Market and Guest Speaker Pics bellow at the bottom, please enjoy.

Meeting was opened by Seagent Murrey
President Peter welcomed guests and did apologies.

Secretary Chris spoke about all correspondence and handed Treasurer Rick all bills and receipts, Chris also mentioned about a BBQ request that Peter had received from the Dromana Primary School, they needed our help on Wednesday the 5th Dec from 3.30 till about 6.30ish, Peter has 4 members to help on the day. Chris has also been dealing with all our insurance issues, lot of work to get it all ready in time, but all ok.

Fundraising Director Tony has been working long hours to with his steering committee and others to organise stall holder, reply to their questions etc, he has a good number of stall holders for the first one with a over 70 expressions of interest, a number of these will become stall holders. Tony and Michael will be going to the site on Friday to do a trial run of all the signs and banners. Some stallholders are asking for power, so Peter bought a new 9 kva generator for one stallholder to use and David Buchanan will hopefully supply a few more for the others.

Pres Pete asked Tony to write up a flyer to give to the neighbours directly opposite the Market site explaining that we are going to do something about the noise issue with generators, this noise issue will be temporary until the shire installs power outlets that Tony has requested and looks like they have approved, another great job done by Tony.

Pres Pete and Tony have organised the Election day BBQ at the Primary School, Peter has spoken to Principal Bruce Messley about getting into the school to set up our BBQ Trailer under cover, we have a number of members doing the shifts and hope everything goes to plan, with all the pre voting we hope we will still sell a lot of egg and bacon rolls and snags, but we always have AGM to use what’s left over.

UPDATE ON BBQ. Due to a lot of pre voting the numbers were down this time in sales, this could be a sign of the times with elections and stock for next years Federal election.thanks to all those that helped out with both events.
UPDATE ON MARKET. There was a great turn out for the fist Market with Tony and Mark getting about 22 stall, the weather was wet for the Market ,but good feed back was received by Members, Tony has sent an email out to members to get there feedback for the next Market in December.

Director Harry has asked if we could help with a BBQ in Frankston, he needs only a few members and its on Wednesday the 12th Dec, please speak to Harry if your interested, Harry and Peter are helping so far.
LOTTO was won by Rick.
Fine session went well and quickly.

Guest speaker was Oliver Ellis Elis.
Oliver attended our meeting with his parents Karen and Brenton
Oliver is going to Brazil as our exchange student, he spoke about living in Crib Point with his parents Karen and Brenton,  they have one dog a cat, chickens and ducks, Oliver goes to Westernport Secondary College and plays football for Balnarring, he enjoys sport and studying, he has spoken to his first host family and is trying hard to learn the language, he will be living in the south western part of Brazil.
