President Tyrrell’s Tales

Hope you all had a couple of good meetings whilst I was overseas.  This week we have a very interesting speaker and we are scheduled to induct a new member Roger McMillan. A busy night.
The Annual District Conference is soon upon us and Maggie and I look forward to seeing our Club represented at the conference.  I hope our Club golfers have been practicing so we can challenge other clubs for the trophy.
Maggie and I congratulate Joy Jarman on the well deserved recognition of the Order Of Australia Medal, now Joy and David have a matching pair of OAMs, quite an honour for the family.
I understand representatives of the Club worked well on Sunday and raised some valuable funds by volunteering to assist with the event on the peninsula, congratulations and thank you for your efforts.
