Social Night .
Tonight we welcomed Liv our exchange student from Brazil.
It was a member and Partners night as well as inviting potential new members, or those that just wanted to see what we do at Dromana Rotary.
We had Tim And Jane Moore in attendance as well as other guests.
PICS OF SOCIAL NIGHT…
PICS OF THE WORKING BEE..
The working bee went well again with trees being planted and the chairs and tables removed from the foreshore to be repaired prior to the summer season, l would like to thank all those involved in the works that were carried out, we had extra non Rotarians helping as well, so that was great to see.
A message from Greg..
Many thanks to Murray Dart, Harry Ziegerink, David Buchanan, Merv Prossor and Jordie Fitzgerald for the work of removing the picnic tables in the large Shelter on the Fore Shore. They are in a bad way but still may be salvaged.
A big thank you to the 1st Dromana Scouts for their great effort in planting all the plants up by the Pump Track on the Hillview Reserve. These trees and shrubs if they grow to maturity will encourage bird life back to this area making it a more pleasant area for all to enjoy.
Thanks Greg
Our Community Market 27th July
The weather was kind to up overcast but completely still and with over 20 stall holders present and a steady flow of visitors it was rewarding day. The combined profit from Flowers BBQ and Spinner was over $600. In addition the stall holders fees were about $1000.
For a midwinter market it was well attending and all attendees were smiling.
