GOOD EVENING ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS Thank you everyone for your attendance this evening Chairman was Geoff Taylor. Rotary Toast was done by Geoff Taylor. Invocation was done by Bob Donaldson. Secretary Chris spoke about all the letters received as well as more paperwork for the upcoming car raffle, more red tape and hurdles to jump through, ( cooling of period for Secretary to resign has finished ) sorry Chris. Greg Fitz brought in a bag of coins from the Library Spinner and got all members to guess the weight and charged $2.00 each, Mark won with a weight of roughly 13.5 kg. Pres Peter also told the members he wanted to buy a horse, it was racing in Caulfield this Saturday , then he said that was a joke , he wanted to buy one for the Riding For the Disabled, he said he would put it to the board next year when the club would be more financial, He spoke to Bob Donaldson about it and he said it was a very good idea. LOTO was by Peter again!!!! Fine session went well again. GIG was done by Incoming Pres Michael Anderson, he spoke about disability which was his job and is very passionate about it, and wants the government to put a lot more funding into it, when he finished he asked members to ask any questions. THE GUEST SPEAKER Director of Fundraising Tony spoke about the Market starting in November as well as the Election day BBq on the same day, and will be bringing a roster sheet to Rotary next week, Tony also went over job descriptions for the Market for Members to look at, everything has been approved and we know have a 10 year lease on the land for the Market. Member Greg Fitz spoke about Halloween and said everything is under control, he has permits for the bon fire and ordered everything needed, he has CFA ready etc.
