Happenings at the last Meeting
This was our last Meeting for 2023 and was a partner's night with little Club business to take care of and much to celebrate.
President Mick introduced our Guests: Freda Donaldson, Wanda Fitzgerald, Joy Long, Carol Ross, Elaine Taylor, Sue Viney and Trudy Ziegerink. He also welcomed back Honorary Members Tyrrell and Maggie McGeever.
A brief touch on Club Matters with the announcement that our return in 2024 will be the traditional BBQ on 10th January. The first Meeting at the Sailing Club will be on the 17th January and will be cover some important discussions and decisions.
Having got that out of the way the Dinner was served.
After dinner the Lotto was drawn (Adrian won) and the volunteers for the Carols and the Market were canvassed and decided. Upcoming activities which will require volunteers are:
- January 14th Two Bays Fun Run BBQ;
- January 21st Bunnings BBQ;
- January 26th Australia Day Stall; and
- January 27th Market Day.
After a pleasant evening to end the calendar year the Meeting was officially closed at 8:10.
A Code for Recycled Cans and Bottles
When recycling cans or bottles, either at the BP Service Station in Dromana or the depot in the Dromana Industrial Estate (32A Brasser Ave), the following Bank Account can be used to deposit the proceeds.
