President Tyrrell’s Tales
A good Club night last Thursday, the committees appear to be progressing and coming up with some interesting projects.  Please remember we are all charged with the responsibility of seeking new members and contributing to the retention of current members.  We should all try to include newer members in our circle of discussions and particularly when we are planning an event.
Be advised that Elaine Barnard-Brown has been experiencing problems with her telephone and needs to have members contact her early each week as to if they will be attending each weekly meeting or will be an apology as Elaine is the member who liaises with our caterer and provides numbers for the Thursday meal.  To assist would members please email Elaine to help her undertake her duties.
At the Board meeting last week we set the annual fees for this Rotary year and we would appreciate members’ paying as soon as practically possible so we may in turn honour our debt to Rotary International.
Please give consideration as to persons you might think would make goof Friends of Rotary who would like to assist us in some our projects such as the Christmas Carols, the Trailer Raffle and our Sausage Sizzles as we are now formalising a procedure for this important addition to our club.
See you all on Thursday evening
