Happenings at last week’s Meeting
This week we had a Social Night at Teresita’s in Dromana. It was a surprising venue which looked small from the front but went deep into the block. We took over an area down the back which had a cosy fire and a nearby bar. (Not a lot more you could ask for. Ed)
We had a full complement of Members and Partners. The night started slowly but did warm up. Many thanks to Joseph for organising another great venue.
The night finished around 8:15.

This was the e-mail that Wayne sent out regarding the Disaster Aid visit.
“Hello Everyone
Due to low attendee numbers we have decided to defer the trip which was planned for next Wednesday September 11th. Apologies to all for the change of plan and we will aim to reschedule a visit during the summer period.
There will be no meeting next week as it is too late to reinstate our regular meeting, however we do have a Special General meeting and new member induction scheduled for September 18th at Jetty Road Brewery where we hope to see a good attendance.
A reminder notice for the 18th will be circulated next week, in the meantime ... please keep the date free!!
