Good evening Rotarians and Friends.
 
Last nights meeting.
Chairman Chris Booth opened meeting.
 
Secretary Bob spoke about next weeks meeting Rye/Rosebud andwill be on the 22nd November at Rosebud country club, please let Elaine no if you are attending for bookings.
 
Our AGM was done with incoming Pres Rob announcing his new board, and his pres elect the honorable grand poo bar sir Peter Anderson.
And as there was no objections, except Christopher Booth, but I'm sure he was joking.
 
Lotto was won by Murray, and was finned accordingly,.
Fine session was done.
 
Our guest speaker for the night was Mailyln Graham, she was from Mentis wich is a mental health service.
Marilyn spoke about how she came from Scotland and married an Irish man wbo works at Lindenbery Estate winery.
Marilyn said they have about 60 members on there staff, were they help clients sort out ther bills and get them on track.
Most clients require regulare medication and need suppervision, an aged care team.
They organise BBQ's and take the younger nes to playgrounds
Tey have a homeless team as well as ayouth team.
Bob asked how the staff dont get involved with there clients, Maryln said that when she gets home she tries to forget and get it out of her head, 
Most of the staff are full time with a few part workers and one volunteer ( Bob) .
Murry asked about the ice issue,  she said it was no different to any other drug problem, only it gets ad ertised by the media a lot more, and that the biggest problem affecting familiers at the moment was alcohol,  and also the biggest call out for amulances.
Marilyn said we call our clients consumers.
 
 
Please remember that Tuesday 22nd November we are meeting at Rye/ Rosebud at the rosebud golf course on Boneo rd, 6.00 for 6.30 start.
 
Also Members and there partners xmas dinner at Altoneros Greek Restaurant is on the 15th Dec, and the board has decided they will cover half the meal cost , and remeber this restaurant is NOT  BYO, you will have to buy all drinks there,
