2nd & 4th Wednesday full dinner meetings with guest speakers.
3rd Wednesday dinner meetings & committee meetings.
1st Wednesdays social nights & off site visits.
5th Wednesdays no meetings
Last Wednesday was a social night at the J R brewery in Dromana. It was a reasonable turn out considering it was a freezing cold night, as well as some members not being well. We were sitting directly under overhead heaters which pleased most members. I felt as if I was cooking. That said, the food was good and reasonably priced.
I would like to remind everyone that if you have any other suitable venues, please don’t hesitate to suggest them to Joseph.
Our next meeting will be held at the Snooks Safety Beach.
Regards to All
Happenings at last week’s Meeting
As you are all now aware, the Bulletin Editor (boo!) made quite an error on the 3rd July Bulletin (shame!). The Meeting was not a Committee Meeting but a Social Night. This error will, no doubt, force him to listen and not make assumptions. (We all know what happens when you “assume”!)
Back at the Jetty Road Brewery the attendance was not as big as some previous Social Nights (misinformation anyone?), but conversation was convivial and the atmosphere warm (in some cases too warm).
After a pleasant evening, we wended our ways to our homes at around 8:15. (A very clunky sentence. Sorry. Ed)
Spare Council Waste Vouchers
Once again Pete Anderson is placing a call-out to anyone who has council waste vouchers that they will not be using before expiry. If you have any, just pass them over to Pete and he will make very good use of them.
You will receive an email each week requesting that you confirm your attendance at the next meeting by return email of by phone call or text.
