Hi Everyone,
The Dromana Primary school BBQ is set for the 15th March, Peter,  Tony, David B, Bob and Adrian will be doing it for them
Please don’t forget,  We have been asked by the potters group if they could use our room on Thursday the 18th of April to prepare for there easter exhibition, As my wife Mary the social secretary was going to organize a social dinner, we have decided to make it that night, So Thursday the 18th of April will be a social partners night held at the Pig and Whistle in Main Ridge, time will be sent out in next few weeks.
We have decided to change the board meeting structure, we will still do the 5.10 to 6.20 and if there is other issues that need to be fixed will continue after our normal meeting.
On a more serious matter, it has been brought to my attention that we have an issue in regards to our female members, they feel that they are not being taken serious enough and not being heard, l no for a fact that these women have a lot to offer and are very experienced in certain areas that matter, l want to make this clear and said at the meeting, “ that l do not want to be a member of a boys club”, so please show the ladies the respect they deserve, we need to get more women into our club, not discourage them.
 
We are all in this together—and together, we will Be the Inspiration. (A quote from Barry Rassin ).

Member Lynn gave an emotional talk about how she was being treated in our club, Lynn feels that  certain members were not listening to her, and hope this changes in the future.
Secretary Chris- was absent so will carry forward to next week.
Director- Rick spoke about raffle sales and wanted tickets back that others might have and might not be able to sell.
Member – Ray B-B spoke about the raffle roster and wants people to put there name down, as we need as many people as possible to sell the tickets.
 
 
GUEST SPEEKER
David and Sue Romsley
David spoke about  RAWCS, and how we could use it for grants for projects we are interested in, Adrian asked if it could be used for a project he has been interested in for a while, and David showed him how it could be done, he said there was a lot of money donated through other areas like the Dick smith foundation as well as others, this money can be used through Rotary as well as other organisations.
Both David and Sue had a great time at our club and even though they live a distance away was more than willing to come back and give another talk to help us with projects.
