Hi Everyone, last Thursday night we had our Christmas dinner at Pier Street Kitchen in Dromana, it was a finger food night, it was a fantastic night with everyone moving around and mingling, great social night.
Also we had a Christmas carols event on Saturday night, it was a bit disapointing with the weather and then when it did clear up the numbers were well down, we were told there would be thousands there, but unfortunately the weather put people off, but the fireworks were fantastic, and as we have lots of snags in the fridge, we will be right for the next Market as well as our Christmas Carols and possibly the next 3 Markets, we will put them in the freezer to cover the time frame, thanks to Merv, Tony, David, Chris, Geoff Hosking for helping me on the night.
Also Harry did his BBQ at Frankston for the Shire family fun day,l haven’t heard anything from Harry as yet, so he will tell us on Thursday night’s meeting.
Raffle ticket sales are going well, thank you to all those selling tickets, l have given out over $5,000 dollars worth of tickets to other groups to sell on our behalf, if we sell all the tickets we should clear well over $50,000 dollars, that's with the money were donating to other sellers, so it is a great oppertunity for our club.
We are all in this together—and together, we will Be the Inspiration. (A quote from Barry Rassin ).
BE THE INSPIRATION.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, PRES PETER
