Message From Pres Pete

Hi everyone, sorry for not making the meeting on Thursday, we had our first week back at work, it was very busy, taking names and numbers, wearing face protection, cleaning and sterilizing after every customer, then my barbers chair hydraulics broke, just to make it even harder, hope everyone is well and dealing with this situation, please give your partners the support they may need during this time, as they are probably not used to being stuck with you ha ha, take care all, see you all soon, cheers Pres Pete

WE ARE STILL ALIVE AND WELL WE HOPE

Great to see more of you are attending our ZOOM meeting and we hope to see you more of you next time. If you are still having difficulties with Zoom please contact Rick know either by phone call 0409 940 033 or by email, (it is easier that you think). He will organise a one on one zoom meeting with you to help you get on. It is easier than you think. Carol and Rick have organised Zoom meetings for Carol's Book Club , Carol's Exercise Class, our Pétanque Club, and family Meet ups. They sure help improve the isolation problem we are currently facing.

For those who did not attend many of us sat in front of our screens with a glass in our hand,

As we get used to this form of meeting we will make better use of them.

Sergeant Mike did not present his Anzac Day Talk but made us laugh as usual. If anyone went hungry or thirsty, it was not the Club's fault.

Our Next Scheduled Zoom meeting is a board meeting, on the 13th of May an 7.00 pm to which you are all invited as observers but if you wish to comment, you will be invited to talk,

Our next Zoom club meeting will be held on the 14th of May

As you were previously advised this be take the form of a Special General Meeting when you will be asked to vote for the changes to the Constitution and Bye-laws.

You should have all received a copy of these documents plus a proxy form only to be filled out if you cant attend the Zoom meeting. This proxy form should be emailed or delivered to Secretary Bob before the meeting. This meeting should only last a few minutes.

Then we will have our normal meeting with an interesting video to lighten up your evening.

The District is using a Zoom meeting for Incoming Presidents Secretaries and Treasures at date to be arranged.

And the ADG Steven Daly is also organising one to discus the Cluster Centenary project that I mentioned at the last Zoom meeting.
