IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As you all no there has been another major event, the bush fires are extreme and the farmers are suffering as well, Dromana Rotary as well as other Rotary clubs in our district are doing there best to help and support all those in need, we at Dromana Rotary have decided to donate again to the farmers as well as the bush fire relief, we are using donation cans, Bunnings BBQ's as well as other means to raise money for those areas, the amount will be discussed at this Thursdays Breakfast meeting with the board and members, l will be absent from this meeting as l start work at 7.30 am.
Good to see that all Rotary clubs are supporting these events to the best of there abilities, great job all, keep up the good work, Steve had a negative response from an ex member, but as we all no Rotary does fantastic job, an will ignore those negative people, l always find those that criticise the most always do the least.
There was a Cluster meeting on Sunday at very short notice to go over what our district was going to do, l was unable to attend as we have family matters to attend , our daughter just moved into her new house yesterday, she is having a baby in the next few weeks and our other daughter is getting married in March, so very bust at the moment and l apologies for my absence to the cluster meetings.
Hi Everyone, As there has been no official meetings this week, our last meeting was our Christmas breakup at Main ridge, were we payed bowls and had a great social night, it was good to catch up with the Partners again.
We have also had a couple of BBQ’s at Rosebud Bunnings and the Rosebud Christmas Carols, Our Dromana Christmas Carols and also a couple of attempts to have a BBQ on the foreshore at Dromana.
Raffle ticket sale’s have gone slow again this year, and l thank all those involved with selling tickets around Dromana And MtMartha shopping strip.
Our first meeting is on the foreshore at Dromana Again on the 9th January, unfortunately l cannot attend as l start work at 7.30 AM this time of the year, please let Elaine no if your coming, and thank you to Merv for all his help in supplying the food for all the BBQ’s we have done lately, and thank you to Tony for his organising foreshore events and Thank you to Chris for the raffle support and Thank you to all those others giving all there time to help in this busy season.
