The meeting at Hillview was a great success and should be repeated a no of times over the year and will always be a slot for Easter Thursday as it helps our neighbours Athe Potters. A good speaker at Hillview in the summer would be positive for membership .In discussion with Geoff Taylor it was agreed that a brochure that outlined the various models of BBQ shelters would be good to expand this successful activity. I was pleased at the response from the visitors to the meeting about the sky Hydrant . We need to consider that there may be many non Rotarians Happy to help promote.
Below is a very impressive report from a neighbouring club . Worth a read and it shows the level of planning they do. I know that this is not our way of doing things but some ideas from them could be useful.
