I was impressed that Mike Smith came up with a unique project  of a Promotional  float/ mobile information centre  for  Rotary .
We need  urgently original ideas from member  for the district grants project for next year in the next 4  weeks .
On a lighter note  here is a project  that comes out of india that would be fun. Rick  and Frank could lead it.To get this here we may need to go to the Zoo to find the Tiger.

Dear Rotarian,

Ride for Rotary2 event is conducted by Rotary District 3181 (India) again after the success of the first edition last year.

We had 14 International Riders from 8 countries in our first edition. Riders were from USA, UK, Portugal, Australia, Sweden, New Zealand, England & India. The feedback from those participants has encouraged us to organize the event “Ride for Rotary” this year as well.

The theme is " One World, One Rotary " to promote fellowship across the world of Rotary and exchange the Rotary views. Funds raised from the event goes to The Rotary Foundation.

This will be a 10 days event in which participants can ride a Motorcycle or drive a car. It will cover 4 Rotary Districts, many Rotary Clubs along with temples, church, Tiger Reserve forests, Beaches and via some breath taking beautiful roads in the lap of nature.

Particpants will be provided A motrocyle / Car, Fuel, Goodies, Good Accomodation, Food, Bike Riding Gears, Insurance for the event. There will be lot of Cultural activites and Fellowships across the places we cover.

The route and dates for this year "Ride for Rotary" has been finalized. The Ride will start in the month of April 14th 2018 from Mysore (India) and conclude on 23rd of April 2018.
