Peters Report
Tonights meeting was started in the usual fashion, with Sargeant Murray introducing Pres Ross, Ross then did the apologies then the anthem, invocation done by Peter, then handing over to Chairman Ray BB replacing David Jarmen, still away.
Again the numbers were down this week , as a lot of members are away.

Tonights dinner was Fish and Chips supplied by the hub Fish shop, and salad , followed by worm apple pie and ice cream.
Chairman Ray Barnard Brown Introduced directors with reports.
Director Bob, talked about the mayors ball, Bob spoke about the new sign, we are thinking of changing the background color to blue to make the sign stand out more.
Bob also showed the film clip and song that Roger wrote and sung, its called "don't forget me Cobber".
The film clip on you tube was very enjoyable and all members watched with interest, great job Roger lot of effort went into writing and singing your song.
Bob also mentioned about our exchange student being moved from Dromana secondary college and going to Rosebud Secondary college,
It was a big effort for Bob to change the school, well done Bob.
Bob also done his weekly joke, we all enjoyed it.
Director Chris mentioned student interviews with Balcombe College, Friday the 12th August, there are 81 students. They are allocating 15 minutes per student, he was asking for extra help.its starts at 8.45

Bob Also mentioned youth senior citizens month, he also mentioned only 32 per cent of youth think its worth voting.
Director Peter mentioned that he was working with Rob to draft up a corporate letter that will be proof read by board prior to sending out.
Also a reminder about the 28th August , the Italian cancer fundraiser, please book as we need as many members to attend as possible, before we put it the friends of Rotary.
Director Rick, wants people to upgrade there profile, with birth dates , he also showed how do it on the screen, Please update your details.
Member David, mentioned about Fusion, they want people to sleep in other cars in exchange for sponsorship, to raise money for this coarse.
Member Greg , Mentioned the hillside reserve and dogs getting loose near the next door farm.
Pump track, is closed for various reasons, by the shire, due to water retention and puddles, and rocks, there is a temporary fence around it.
Also Greg mentioned Halloween, Greg also wants to put a pathway under the chair lift.
Lotto was won by David.
Then Sergeant Murray went on to do the fine session.
Murray fined Ray, who made Elaine pay, Rick for assuming everyone can read English in club runner, Greg wanted to make a donation, Peter got fined l think for just being Peter, but Murray couldn't work out for what ,Bob for just putting his money in front of him, Linda for a visitors tax , Merv for having money on the table as well, roger for a singing tax, Rick again for mentioning a wind farm and again made Elaine pay, David payed a fine just for winning Lotto, ha you win some and you loose some ,Merv read out a joke, and was fined accordingly.
Geoff Taylor was absent this week as he was having a baby.
Guest Speaker, Linda Morris, spoke about Beleura House and Rotary Mt Eliza are organising a musical on the 27th August 2016 at 2pm, a presentation by Dr Richard Vaudrey, it is a great event and Linda would like as much support as possible.
Roger got up and spoke about a factory in the Dromana industrial estate, the factory called Priority One, and wanted it valued, it has hydronic heating, an electric car called a Holden Volt, and a BMW electric car, Roger went on the roof to have a look, it was covered with solar panels, it will power up his whole factory and his cars.

As member of this club, and we don't have guest speakers available all the time, l think it would be a good idea to bring back, The Person behind the Badge, this gives new members as myself and others an introduction to the life of a member.
If the club agrees, l can add this in the bulletin and give the member more notice, or it can be done through Greg as he is now on the guest speaker organizer.
I receive a lot of correspondence from members on my Face book page, with their permission, l would like to add some of there comments and photos into our bulletin, so other members can enjoy there experiences, if you are on my face book page and agree to me publishing these details, please advise me to go ahead, a list of members and past members currently on my page are as follows.

Also , please remember Mary and Peter are doing there Italian feast to raise money for cancer here at the shire hall, as Mary and myself will be away next week, please let Elaine no , we have some members going already but need a lot more numbers to fill the hall, great event for a great coarse, with door prizes and raffles etc, please support the event, thank you.
My aim is to make the bulletin more interesting , without boring the shite out of you, also l will put a mistake in there somewhere and see who spots it, Sergeant Murray can then fine appropriately.
