Bob spoke about macula degeneration,Bob also showed us the new sign going on our gate way entrance, he also said about our exchange student coming once a month.

Rob spoke about rotary health research,and lift a lid on mental health,he wants people to wear a hat for the course and donate to mental health, also spoke about getting a member to get up and talk ?

Saturday 15th October join the Catholic church trivia night. He wants tables of 8.

Introduced our guests Carl and Carl. Carry on victoria is what he spoke about, they have an opp shop next to Greg in Hastings, stared in 1942 for war vets, 12 gentlemen started Carry on it cost sixpence , they would drop food to peoples houses and no one new were it came from.

They do welfare, education around the area and have 100 units doing the whole area, they go as fare as mildura, Geelong etc.

He spoke about a 95 year old doing jam sessions in his garage and having bbqs, to help people.

They donate money to schools for there supporting students, and there is no discrimination,  they don't need to be related to veterans, 

They save the federal gov hundreds of thousands of dollars, 

Anzacs and veterans fund is there only support, the rest is self funded, Greg asked about the stigma about people taking hand outs.

42 people took there lives last year, 

 

 A board meeting was held after our usual meeting, l am unable to tell you what was discused as l went home sick and was an oppology.
